Love the torch, fairly frequent use at home and night shift at the hospital, lost the moon mode and when i grab it off the bedside table to find the cat at night, it takes a couple of minutes to get the thing working, seems to be when the globe is cold the bright mode wont stay on. bloody annoying but works fine if you keep it warm, still... makes me worried about reliabiliity in the field |

The Zebra H501 blows Petzl Tikkas and any other brands on the market out of the water. It is nice and small, the light output levels are very well spaced out. On high you would easily be able to set up camp in the dark. The low is soft enough to have on while fishing without the risk of blinding your mate when looking at them. Comfortable to wear. Whoever designed this torch put a lot of thought into it and it shows. |

I absolutely love my H501, I use it just about every single day. The only reason it got 3 and not 5 stars is because with heavy use, I don't think the H501 is extremely durable. I'm on my 4th replacement now. I hope 4th one's more durable than first 3. ZebraLight have been good about repairing/replacing the defective lights so far, but it takes about 3 weeks until you get replacement after sending dead one in. Better late than never. If it lasted longer the H501 would get 5 stars all day long. |

The H501 is top notch. I use it for many tasks like reading and lighting up a table.
I own a Hydralux LED bulb for standard lamps, a Surefire tactical flashlight, and a Black Diamond headlamp. The H501's small size, versatile uses, range of brightness, battery efficiency, and virtually flawless flood beam make it stand out from these great lights.
I anticipate the H501 paying for itself in several months through reductions in my electrical bill. |
