The SC51 was the 2nd Zebralight I purchased and is definitly the most used. You will find no AA powered light out there close to the quality or brightness of this one. I have literally tortured this light, and I know it will turn on in one click and provide me the same quality beam and brightness as it did when it was purchased. I now own the H51, SC51, and SC600...All of them an A+ Your money will NOT go to waste if you buy a Zebralight. |

The SC51 is very small and lightweight, perfect size for an EDC! The runtimes and output are amazing for a single AA light, probably the best on the market. The beam is wide, smooth and high quality overall. The pocket clip seems tough, I'm not worried about dropping this accidentally. The included headband is also a nice touch.
I'm very happy with this purchase, I highly recommend this light to anyone looking for a small and powerful light for every day carry. |

Great light. This is the most light you can get out of a AA battery. The light is lightweight and is easy to carry. The quality of this light is on par with the best of the best lights on the market today. You will not be disappointed with any zebra light. I also have a zebra headlamp that is superb. |

Zebra SC51 is fantastic flash for EDC. It's unbelievable compact, quite bright for everyday in-city purposes. Besides, you can use AA batt. if accum is over.
It is very recommended to use AA accumulators.
Finally, it's my permanent EDC light for recent month (believe me, it's quite long ;) ).
I suppose, next EDC will be ZebraLight H600. But change reason is only higher brightness.
So, you will never regret about the purchase.

I own a couple of these along with the headlamp version. I can't say enough good things about them. Everyone I show them to are impressed by how much light they put out for the compact size. The one thing I don't care for is the shiny clip but after reading some forums this is easily fixed by removing the clips and brushing them for a few minutes with a heavy duty Scotch Brite pad. Gives it a nice "brushed aluminum" look. Easy 5 star rating for me. |

I only buy the best gear after doing extensive research on many product and I have had my eye on ZL since last year. Working in Borneo forest, normal AA battery with excellent run time is a must. This SC51 is not a mere gadget, it is professional tools. The only thing for me now is to see how durable this light can be, which mean it has to withstand a year of extensive used, regular dunking into high current stream, wet rainforest weather including falling unto mud and rock. While the 200 Lm output is undeniably excellent, the most impressive thing about this flashlight is how easy the UI makes it to get the level of light you want. It's also amazingly compact and beautifully put together. What more could you ask for? |

Very pleased with my purchase - quality construction, great interface/modes and *amazing* brightness from a single AA battery. Surprising how small it is as well. This is a perfect EDC light! |

This has replaced my Eagletac CR123 A light because it puts out just as much light but with a AA battery. The size is amazing, the quality and feel are superb.
I have only used tail clickies in the past but this feels much more natural. When you draw your light your hand is already on the switch.
Overall I give this a 10/10. The only thing I would be interested in is a Tritium slot somewhere... but that's my niche :) |
